One Hot Summer is a game about one summer on a Tennessee lake. We built it to be played, not to watch you play. We (the developer) do not collect, sell or share any personal information - nothing about you is ever sent to us.
High scores use Apple's Game Center. If you are signed in to Game Center, your scores and your Game Center nickname are sent to Apple's leaderboards so you and your friends can compare them. That is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; we (the developer) never receive your scores, nickname, Apple ID, email or your device's contacts. So that a score made with no signal isn't lost, the game keeps it on your device, with your Game Center player ID, until it can be sent; a weekly score that misses its week is dropped. You can play without Game Center - your scores then stay on your device, and if you sign in later, waiting scores are sent then.
On Android phones and tablets, your progress and your scores are saved only on your device - there is no Game Center or other leaderboard service, so nothing about you or your play is sent anywhere. The game shows no ads and has no tracking.
The game shows no ads, contains no analytics or tracking tools, and does not track you across other apps or websites.
The game is made for families. We collect no information from anyone, including children.
