Dialed In does not require an account. The app does not collect or send your personal data to us, uses no advertising or analytics tools, and does not track you.
Dialed In does not use or send anything to any AI service, ours or anyone else's. When you say your settings out loud, Apple's speech recognition turns your words into text right on your iPhone (the first time, iOS may download Apple's speech model). Your words, recordings, photos and notes are never sent to us or to any third party. The app makes no network requests of its own.
These permissions are optional; the library and manual entry work without them, and you can turn them off any time in your iPhone's Settings.
The Android version works the same way. It has no internet access at all. When you say your settings out loud, Android's on-device speech recognition turns your words into text on your phone (the first time, Android may offer to download its speech pack); the button is hidden on phones that can't do this on the device. Your sounds, notes, photos and recordings stay in the app on your phone. Android's own device backup may keep a copy according to your backup settings; we cannot access it.
Your content stays in the app until you delete it or delete the app. Device backups (iCloud or your computer) may keep a copy according to your backup settings; we cannot access those backups.
If you email us, we receive your email address and message through our email provider and use them only to reply. We don't sell them or use them for advertising. This website is hosted on GitHub Pages, which keeps visitors' IP addresses in security logs; we add no analytics or ads. Links to sources open other websites with their own privacy policies.
Any change to this policy will be posted here with a new effective date.
