Effective: October 23, 2026. Developer: Arthur Joyce. JuneBug was previously called SaySo; only the name changed.
Your lists are private. They stay on your phone and in your own iCloud - never on our servers, no account, no tracking, and nobody at JuneBug ever sees them. Only people you choose to share a list with can see that list.
JuneBug does not require an account. We do not collect your personal data, we use no advertising or analytics tools, and we do not track you. We have no servers of our own.
If iCloud is turned on, your keepers are also kept in your own private iCloud (Apple's CloudKit), so they appear on your other devices. If you choose Share with family, the keeper is shared through Apple's iCloud sharing with the people you invite; they can see it and add to it. We cannot see your iCloud data or who you share with. You can stop sharing at any time from the keeper's More menu.
On Android, everything you keep is saved only on your phone. JuneBug for Android has no internet access at all. Speech is turned into words by your phone's own on-device speech recognizer, photos are taken with your camera app or chosen with Android's photo picker, and reminders are scheduled by Android on your phone. There is no iCloud on Android: sharing a keeper sends it as a message with an app you choose. If your phone's own backup is on, Android may include JuneBug's data in your Google backup; we cannot access it.
Things you delete wait in Recently Deleted until you put them back. Deleting the app removes what is on that device; anything in your iCloud stays there until you remove it in your iPhone's iCloud settings. Device backups may keep a copy according to your backup settings; we cannot access them.
If you email us, we receive your email address and message through our email provider and use them only to reply. This website is hosted on GitHub Pages, which keeps visitors' IP addresses in security logs; we add no analytics or ads.
JuneBug is a general-audience app and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Any change to this policy will be posted here with a new effective date.
